My Semestral Break

Semestral Break have just finished and classes have already started. Semestral Break is a one of the most awaited week this October because its a time for us to have a break. But what did I have done during the semestral break.

Even though its Semestral Break, it doesn't mean that i just stayed at our house and do what I want but instead I attended Seminars to gain more knowledge and information.

The first seminar I attended is a two-day Seminar, The Children’s Month Celebration, where I learned the Children’s Rights , about the kinds of Child Abuses and many more. This Seminar is very enjoyable because for the first time, we acted as parents of our adopted child. The child we adopted named Chloe is a very “pasaway” boy but then its just OK for us because we understand that he’s a child. At first he don’t want to leave his mother but then after all the jokes and encouragement we’ve done, he then joined us. This Seminar have gave us many lessons.

After that seminar we attended again a three-day Seminar, which is The Dove. Here we learned about journalism, the kinds of news, how to write a good news, photography, Editorial cartooning and many more. It’s a very nice Seminar for we learned so much. After this Seminar, then came the All Saint's Day and the All Soul's Day.

All Saint's Day and the All Soul's Day is the day where we remember our loved ones whom already passed away. I didn't go to Cemetery. as our tradition, we cook foods and we lighted candles in a table and together with those foods, it were served in our table.

During November 2, 2008, we went to the cemetery to visit the tomb of our relatives who have already passed away …During this days, what I’ve done is to sleep early because most of the features of the program of the television is horror and I’m not fun of watching those horrors so I just sleep early….After this, I again prepared for the classes….Back to school again….Its again the start of the next Grading Period….
